So You're Engaged ... Now What?

Happy New Year and congrats on your recent engagement! I'm sure you're overwhelmed with everything you need to do for the big day so let me help you with one of the most important aspects of your wedding ... invitations! I mean, you have to let guests know where to go and when, right?

So now that you know you need to send invitations to guests for your wedding, let's get down to the details like when to mail them and more. Just like you are referring to other professionals (wedding planner, photographer, florist, baker, DJ, etc.) in the wedding industry, you can refer to a designer (like myself) to help answer all of your questions when it comes to invitations and more!

Below is a handout I like to provide couples to give them an idea of when they need to be working on each printed piece for their wedding, including when to mail certain pieces. Of course, if you are on a much tighter time frame for getting married, then we adjust these, but most couples have around a year for planning their wedding.

And as always, I like to stress the earlier the better! If you have your info for any of these sooner than listed, I am more than happy to start on them sooner.
